This extremely hearty shrub will tolerate almost any conditions,
swampy ground, dry sandy soil, salt, drought and pollution. Though it
prefers partial light this native will stand up to nearly all lighting
conditions. In the summer it will produce beautiful light colored flowers
that contrast the deep green leaves and purple fruit. Visit the Emily
